Harcourt's
warehouse security system combines monitored
alarms, recorded CCTV cameras, fire
sensors and reinforced steel shutters.
Harcourt also recommends clients keep
part of any warehoused stock in a second
location as a precaution against unforeseen
occurrences.
All
digital data is backed up twice each
day and stored off-site as a precaution.
Harcourt automatically records and track
the progress of every job from order
to delivery to ensure print items are
available to clients on a "just-in-time"
basis and includes automatic "alarms"
that trigger if stocks fall below pre-determined
levels.
Bundling,
shrink-wrapping and addressing are computer-controlled,
enabling verifiable door-to-desk delivery
to client cost-centres or even to/from
third-parties.
Distribution
in Dublin and Leinster is normally handled
on a same-day-delivery basis by Harcourt's
own vans, with SDS overnight delivery
to the rest of Ireland and three-day
delivery guaranteed by Fedex worldwide.
Multi-drop
distribution, and the storing and distributing
third-party print material are catered
for by Harcourt's dependable and adaptable
Logistics Division.
